Board rules
Welcome to www.acctrade.org. In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read through this document, it will help you navigate the pits and traps this community has created for new members 
These rules can be changed without notice though normally we announce changes via announcement in all the forums.
1) Read up before asking! There are tons of guides, FAQs and each moderator will help you, if you have any questions or problems.
1a) Use the search function before posting. Chances are your question has already been answered.
2) Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forum before you post.
3) Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.
4) Be nice to each other and respect the moderator. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to the respective moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to supermod or an admin.
5) Do not spam. No blatant advertising. No double posting! (Do not reply to your own posts!)
6) No warez, cracks, serials or illegally obtained copyrighted content! Links to content of a questionable nature, asking for, offering, or asking for help/helping to process such content in any way or form is not tolerated. No illegal, racist or pornographic material or comments will be tolerated!
7) Keep the size of personal images down. Also the size of your Signature should be kept to a minimum.
8 ) No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.
9) Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.
10) Do not send questions pertaining to topics of discussion on this board via personal messages or email to Moderators or Admins, they will be ignored.
11) Don't post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post.
12) How NOT to post on this forum:
Do not post the same thread in several different sections.
In the acc trading section pushing your thread every 2 days is allowed if you haven't got rid of your acc until then.
In all other areas double posting is NOT allowed and will be punished.
"Close the thread", "Wrong area" and similar posts are not helpful and prohibited. Please use the "Report" button and a mod or smod will receive an email immediately.
The thread starter or a moderator will decide when the topic will be closed, not other users.
Posting credits in Account for Credits under the last bid is grounds for Immediate strike, you heard it here!.
Smilies are only allowed for moderators or the thread starter.
13) The official language is English. Non english posts will be deleted.
14) Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.
15) Political discussions are prohibited, as is any discussion on religion and religious matters.
16) Instructions by the moderator team are to be followed.
17) Advertising boards with a similar scope as www.acctrade.org is prohibited and will be deleted.
18 ) Trading accounts for real money is illegal, and will be closed without notice.
19) Posting or Adding to your signature "click-me" links is hereby not allowed and grounds for a signature to be edited and the user to be warned.
20) Please do not bump threads over a week old without permission of a moderator or the threadstarter.
21)No trading accounts that aren't gameforge related without the test universes.
E.g.:
-Ptspace
-Universae
-Any games that are replica's of the originals.

If you don't comply with these rules you'll have to face a set of sanctions:

We have a very active moderation team and a lot of members who will remind you of the rules should you not stick to them, be it for not having read them properly or for simply not caring.
As in real life, there must be some measures put into place for people who keep infringing these rules, in real life it's the penal code, here it is these sanctions:
Each moderator can report you for violating a forum rule. Such a report contains a timestamp, the forum rule you violated and the post in question. Such a report will result in you getting a "strike". The report will point out the number of strikes left until will be suspended (more about that later). As in baseball "3 strikes and you're out", though in this case the we also have the strikes at 3 strikes and they have to occur within a month's time or they will be forgotten. A suspension involves the following:
No access to user profiles
Modification of the user profile is disabled
Posting is disabled
Downloading attachments is disabled
Private messaging is disabled
After 7 days of suspension your account will be reinstated as we believe everybody should get a second chance. The strike list will stay at 3 strikes for another 30 days. If a member should continue to violate forum rules and gets another strike, the account will be suspended immediately.
If you wish to contest a strike send a PM to the Moderator or a Super-Moderartor with a reference to the post in question and an explanation why you think the strike is not justified. By publicly complaining about a strike in any way (starting with pointing out "I've been striked for this and that"
, or go badmouthing this forum and its members on another board you also forfeit your rights to an appeal and the strike will be permanent without exception.

The following rules pertain to certain sections and usually result in receiving an instant strike:
1) Don't offer credits in the Ogame.Org Trading Zone.
2) Do not for any reason use someone else thread to advertise one of your own accounts.
3) If you think someone has a crappy account, don't go in their thread and say so.
4) If you have questions about the account, use a pm.
5) No offering Resources in exchange for Credits. This will be an instant strike.
6) Don't accuse someone of being a scammer, take it to the feedback section.
7) READ THE REQUIREMENTS BEFORE YOU POST. If someone is asking for a top 100 account and you offer a top 200 account, instant strike.
8 ) The report button is not a game nor a toy. Use it only if someone is breaking the rules, not for your own personal entertainment.
9) When creating a thread, stick to the templates assigned so that it will limit questions other users may ask.

Shoutbox rules:
The shoutbox has been implemented for general conversation. Please stick to the netiquette and do not attack or insult other users. Do not spam the shoutbox!
Advertising your trading threads is allowed, but only to a certain degree: Do not spam the box with a link to your thread or make a bunch of shouts advertising your account.
Advertising will be accepted once or twice a day, but not more often.
Do not carry out fights or discussions in the shoutbox, use MSN or ICQ instead. It may be important to you, but we want the shoutbox to be there for all users and not only for two of you.
You are allowed to shout several times in a row but only under certain conditions:
You are telling something and not repeating yourself. You do not shout messages with only smilies or signs in them. (eg.: ???)
If you obey to the rules, enjoy our Shoutbox!
If you break rules, you will receive a warning from a mod and if you do it again a strike.

shoutbox rules additions:
1. You can posts at most three shouts in a row within ten minutes. If you do more, it will lead to a day ban.
2. If you post one word shouts, you will be told that you should quit the habit, since it fills the shoutbox with spam... Constantly doing it may lead to a one day ban.
3. If you swear, one day ban. Abbreviation, example wtf, may be okay, depending how it was used. Using it constantly will be a one day ban.
4. Making other users uncomfortable (like an argument, targeting another member or simply just shouting out things that are not right), one day ban to calm yourself down, or maybe a longer ban, depending on how bad the situation was.
5. Racism, a week ban (i take it seriously). You will be striked as well, since i do not tolerate racism.
6. Insulting another member, or another moderator. Couple of days ban, or just one. Depending how bad.
7. Three or more words per post. There is no reason why to do less. Unless your saying hello to the whole shoutbox, saying thank you when given advice, or saying your goodbye, that may be an exception. Post less than three can lead to a ban.

iTrader Rating Rules
iTrader Ratings are introduced to give users a chance to rate a person they have traded with. This has been made to increase the trust into good traders and to give scammers less chances of finding victims.
Rating another user is only allowed under the following circumstances:
- You have traded with the person you want to rate.
- You click on the rating image in the a post in the thread where the trade was agreed on.
- You give feedback ("Perfect trade!" or "He took my account but did not give me his")
Please give fair feedback. Only give negative feedback if the trade was really bad or a scam. Use the neutral option for small problems.
If you give negative feedback please also open a scammer thread in the feedback section.
All other ratings will be deleted!
If you feel a raing is not fair, please use the report button on the side of it.
If ou see a rating not related to a trade, please also report it.
Please do not misuse this system. It will only lead to your rating being deleted and you getting a warning or a strike.
For the future this should make it easier for you to decide with whom you want to trade. read the ratings and comments made for the user you are planning to trade with.
